Founded by Jamie and Danielle Pohl, My Energy has combined a customer-first approach with technical metering expertise to create a business that simplifies a complex multi-stage process.

Meet the Team
My Energy was formed by Jamie & Danielle Pohl in 2019 with a vision to provide metered utility billing solutions and plumbing maintenance services for property managers and body corporates, our aim is accurate and fair user pay solutions to multi-unit buildings.
Jamie Pohl
Managing Director
Jamie Pohl is a certified commercial plumber and gasfitter by trade with over sixteen years commercial experience, eight of those years were spent working on significant commercial projects spread across London and the greater United kingdom. As well as being the Managing Director of My Energy he is also the General Manager for Flow Pro Limited who have a strong track record in the Auckland Commercial Plumbing market with an excellent reputation for service and quality.
Jamie brings extensive knowledge and leadership skills to the utility management sector and commercial plumbing industry. Jamie’s drive, passion and complete commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, to the highest possible standard and maintaining these buildings right through to the management of utilities once complete is what sets him aside from the rest. Jamie is an extremely passionate, professional and business minded individual and takes complete pride in all projects large or small.
Danielle Pohl
Director
Danielle’s ability to form long term working relationships with clients and colleagues is based on following her personal values, being honest, respectful and professional.
Danielle’s passion is delivering market leading customer services and working with stakeholders to deliver uncomplicated solutions that work.
Together, Jamie, Danielle and the wider My Energy team bring a young, fresh and innovative approach to the metered utilities sector and commercial plumbing maintenance industry with a key focus on a more sustainable future by utilising innovative utility monitoring technology.
Systems
My Energy utilises the best available systems working in the background. Our systems are used by many of the largest utilities retailers, not only in New Zealand but around the globe. Our systems are cloud-based and can be customised to suit the needs of our clients billing requirements.
End-users are able to log in through an online portal to see current invoices with month by month graphs to show consumption patterns. Being able to see their consumption can motivate occupants to modify their behaviours to save water, gas and electricity.
Technology
We have partnered with the leading supplier in New Zealand for water metering systems and technology. We can integrate with any existing meter reading system old or new.
We have negotiated exceptional purchasing rates for market leading equipment that minimises disruption to tenants through wireless meter reading.
There are several systems; Wireless module attachments for existing networks, integrated wireless meters, and wired systems to a central VPN read. My Energy is capable of installing and maintaining any system you have in place and can recommend the best system to suit each building's requirements.
